The Orient Oracle ("we") runs theorientoracle.com. We collect as little as we can. This page explains exactly what we process and why. Questions or requests: [email protected].
At a glance
- Birth dates and names you enter in our tools are used only to calculate your result. They are not saved to a database, not written to logs and not sent to analytics.
- Your email is stored only if you join the waitlist, and only to tell you when full reports launch.
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only if you click "Accept".
- We show no ads and never sell or rent personal data.

Cookies and local storage
- oo-consent-v1 (local storage): remembers your cookie choice. Strictly necessary; no tracking.
- _ga, _ga_* (cookies, up to 2 years): Google Analytics. Set only after you accept. Declining later deletes them.
You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Who helps us run the site
- Hetzner Online: hosts our web servers in Helsinki, Finland (EU).
- Neon: hosts our database (waitlist emails) on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
- Cloudflare: content delivery and security. Processes IP addresses to deliver pages and block attacks.
- Google: Google Analytics 4, only with your consent. Google may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Advertising features are disabled.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell waitlist members about material changes.
